Attachments failing with invalid id

description

Hi

On our server attachments are failing with 'Invalid Id' and I cannot trace the problem at all. I'ce had a look in add_attachment.aspx and have found the segment of code giving the error but the ID is passed correctly in the URL and cannot be null or 0.
I'm at a real loss and this is causing loads of problems on our tracker now.

does anyone have any ideas ?

thanks in advance

Steve

I am having a similar issue. We recently moved our bug tracker app from one server to another. On the previous server, attachments uploaded fine (to the database). On the new server, we get an 'Invalid ID' message when we try to upload attachments. We are using the same database as it never moved.

I assume it is a setting or something simple that just needs set up since it worked on the first server. Does anyone have any ideas?

Also, even when I do not select a file and press upload, I get the Invalid ID message. I would assume I would get the message telling me to select a file but do not. Not sure if that has anything to do with this or not.

We started seeing this issue yesterday on our product bug tracker instance.

From this URL: https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=3179473&forum_id=226938

I applied this:

remove this from add_attachment.aspx.
action=add_attachment.aspx

Fixed the error!

Thanks!

Don

We also experienced this problem and the solution was the one given above by Don.

The only configuration change in our server was a bunch of patches downloaded from microsoft via windows update.
